From 30 September to 2 October 2026, representatives from our 13 partners across six countries met at the Siemens Technology Center in Garching, Germany, for our second plenary meeting — and our first in-person one. Three days of discussions, technical exchange, and collaboration gave us the chance to take stock of where we are and look ahead to what comes next.

After our online kick-off in June, we focused on reviewing some of the key pieces that will shape our work:
- Aligning on the design of our platform blueprint
- Examining progress across AURORA and SENTINEL, our industrial use cases
- Discussing how our different technologies will come together as an integrated solution
- Shaping our Innovation Challenge and how we can engage with the wider industrial ecosystem
We also visited the Siemens laboratories, where we explored industrial research and technologies in action. Seeing these developments up close gave us the opportunity to learn and reflect on how we can take our work from the lab into real manufacturing environments.
But a plenary meeting is about more than technical progress. It is also a chance to bring different perspectives and areas of expertise together, clarify concepts, tackle problems, and make sure all the pieces of PRIME-6G are moving in the same direction.
A big thank you to Siemens for hosting us in Garching, and to all our partners for three productive days of collaboration!
