Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a Spanish public university known for its high-level academic programs and cutting-edge research in engineering and social sciences. It plays a pivotal role in the European innovation ecosystem by leading and participating in complex multidisciplinary projects focused on future digital technologies. The institution provides top-tier experimental infrastructure, such as the NEXTONIC laboratory, to facilitate the transition of network research into industrial reality.
Expertise and role in PRIME-6G
UC3M is the coordinating institution for the PRIME-6G project, assuming full responsibility for the administrative, financial and technical management of the Consortium. It leads standardisation activities with international bodies and the validation of the SENTINEL use case at its NEXTONIC facilities in Madrid. Furthermore, it contributes fundamental technical innovations, such as the development of digital twins based on Graph Neural Networks, to optimise robotic control deployment.
ARENA2036 stands for “Active Research Environment for the Next generation of Automobiles” within the “Research Campus – Public-Private Partnership for Innovation” funding initiative, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). It is run as a registered association with members from science and industry. Our members are active in various disciplines, from the automotive industry to aerospace technology, textile and materials research, and ergonomics.

ARENA2036 provides an ideal testbed for PRIME-6G with its state-of-the-art network infrastructure for Industry 4.0 applications, including a 5G/6G campus network, combined with industrial WiFi and edge computing.
AUSTRALO is a marketing and innovation consultancy focused on bridging the gap between research and the market. Its mission is to create and transform value in digital transformation, emerging technologies, applied science, and business growth. AUSTRALO leads the project’s strategy for communication, dissemination, exploitation, and ecosystem building. The team oversees stakeholder engagement and the transfer of knowledge and results to key audiences. AUSTRALO also drives collaboration across the value chain, ensuring that project outcomes reach the right actors, supporting their uptake, and maximising PRIME-6G’s visibility, market relevance, and long-term impact.
The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) is a non-profit research institution based in Castelldefels (Barcelona), resulting from a public initiative of the Regional Government of Catalonia. Within CTTC, the Packet Optical Networks and Services (PONS) Research Unit focuses on packet-optical networking, SDN/NFV, cloud-edge infrastructures, and autonomous network management for future B5G/6G services.
Expertise and role in PRIME-6G
CTTC will contribute to the design of the PRIME-6G platform by identifying reusable open-source technologies and helping define the future 6G network architecture for industrial environments. In particular, CTTC will focus on integrating multiple communication and sensing technologies through a Telco Edge Cloud platform with advanced orchestration capabilities. CTTC will also support the integration and large-scale validation of the AURORA industrial robotics use case, while contributing to dissemination and standardisation activities.
Fivecomm is a Valencian technology company, specialised in the industrial application of 5G and IoT technologies. The company develops advanced connectivity devices and solutions for demanding environments, such as logistics, ports, mobility, and industrial automation.
Expertise and role in PRIME-6G
Fivecomm will contribute its expertise in advanced 5G/6G connectivity and UE-based sidelink communications for industrial environments. In PRIME-6G, the company will develop and validate sidelink-based communication mechanisms for collaborative mobile robots, focusing on decentralised coordination, subnetwork formation, and efficient radio resource management to enable low-latency and reliable industrial operations.
IMDEA Networks is a research institute focused on data networks, with a multinational team engaged in cutting-edge fundamental science and technology. Located in Madrid, Spain, IMDEA Networks has established itself internationally as a leader in the development of future network principles and technologies. It is designing and creating today the networks of tomorrow with a team of highly reputed researchers.

Its main role in PRIME-6G is to develop an intelligent network digital twin that will help create smarter, safer, and more efficient industrial environments by enabling process monitoring, anomaly detection, and the optimisation of manufacturing operations.
InCites Consulting is an SME established in Luxembourg, and its main activities rely on telecommunications technoeconomics, regulatory economics and policies, demand forecasting, business and price modelling.

InCites will lead activities to identify key factors that may affect the market entry of PRIME-6G solutions. It will also lead activities to define appropriate business models to support successful market uptake.
Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era. With expertise across fixed, mobile, and transport networks, the company is advancing connectivity to secure a brighter world.
Expertise and role in PRIME-6G
NSN Kft. has a strong expertise in network and service management and automation. Nokia will use this expertise in PRIME-6G to provide and upscale deterministic e2e services across heterogeneous network domains and technologies, and to automate the corresponding service management capabilities. It will also ensure a smooth transition of the solutions developed during the project from the labs to the final project Trial & Pilot showcase.
Robotnik designs, manufactures, and markets autonomous mobile robots and manipulators, capable of working autonomously in collaborative environments, sharing space with humans. The company was founded in 2002 and is a worldwide reference in mobile robotics, and a leader in Europe with over 5.800 customers.

Robotnik specialises in:
- Mobile robot platform and mobile manipulator development and manufacturing.
- Mobile service robotics R&D and engineering.
The Robotnik team is made up of 60 people, including engineers and the R&D team. Robotnik provides the mobile robotics technology required for the project and experience in successfully implementing a wide range of mobile service robotics projects. Robotnik has 20 years of experience in robot manufacturing and sales, has a large number of customers in more than 50 countries, and has permanent distributors in the USA, China, India, Japan, and Singapore. Robotnik has extensive experience in EU research projects and has participated in several FP6, FP7, H2020, and HE projects.
Siemens AG is an international technology company driving the convergence of the physical and digital world. Siemens develops and utilises 5G technology for intelligent infrastructures, automation, and digitalisation in the process and manufacturing industries, as well as intelligent mobility solutions. Central Research (FT RPD) plays a key role here. It collaborates closely with R&D teams in the divisions worldwide and contributes experience from numerous international and national research projects. Siemens offers its own industrial 5G infrastructure (UE, RAN, Core).
A significant part of its rich product portfolio is the managed IT/OT infrastructure, digital twins across the whole value chain and advanced logistics solutions. In these areas, Siemens sets a special focus on industrial AI across the enterprise, enabling adaptive manufacturing and continuously optimising performance in both planning and design, as well as operation and production.

Siemens AG (SAG) serves as the technology user in the project, leading its development as Technical Manager. In addition, SAG is responsible for the AURORA use case, which will be developed in their premises. Main interest is in distributed fleet management and optimised radio resource management to enable autonomous and reliable cyber-physical systems.
Telefónica is a Spanish multinational telecommunications company headquartered in Madrid. It provides mobile, fixed-line, broadband, and digital services to millions of customers worldwide. The company operates mainly in Europe and Latin America under brands such as Movistar, O2, and Vivo.

Telefónica brings strong expertise in advanced telecom networks, including 5G/6G, cloud–edge computing, and AI-driven network optimisation. In PRIME‑6G, it supports the design and validation of the end‑to‑end 6G platform, especially deterministic connectivity, network orchestration, and integration with industrial systems. Across the project, the company plays a key role in bridging telecom innovation with practical industrial deployment.
Laude Tech guides its clients to face the new challenges of the digital economy and helps them adapt to a changing and highly competitive environment, developing new skills and competencies in technology and digitisation, and effectively protecting and managing their assets and data.

Laude Tech is a Spanish SME specialising in Open RAN technologies and AI-driven network optimisation. Within PRIME-6G, the company will contribute its expertise in intelligent network management, automation, and multi-sensor data fusion to support the development of flexible and efficient 6G solutions. Laude Tech will help ensure that advanced connectivity technologies can be effectively deployed in industrial use cases, improving reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
The Informatics Institute (IvI) at the University of Amsterdam conducts curiosity-driven and use-inspired fundamental research in informatics while training talent through high-quality academic education. Its research focuses on complex information systems, including collaborative, data-driven, computational, and intelligent systems, across five themes: Artificial Intelligence, Computational Science, Data Science, People, Society & Technology, and Systems & Networking.
Expertise and role in PRIME-6G
UvA brings expertise in AI-assisted network management and multi-agent systems for future 6G networks. Within PRIME-6G, UvA contributes to the AI-driven framework that enables distributed AI agents to monitor, predict, and optimise network and computing resources in industrial environments. UvA’s role is to help make 6G networks more autonomous, reliable, and responsive, supporting time-critical applications such as collaborative robots and virtualised robotic control.
